AGT star Richard Goodall reaches new heights with a show-stopping performance of “Don’t Stop Believin’” at his hometown show

One of the best things about following America’s Got Talent winners is watching their journey beyond the stage—and Season 19 champion Richard Goodall continues to prove why he’s a star.

The now-famous singing janitor delivered a show-stopping performance of “Don’t Stop Believin’” in front of tens of thousands at his hometown show, once again showcasing the powerhouse vocals that made him a household name on AGT.

Watch his performance below.

Goodall, who won over millions with his emotional performances, has been making the most of his post-AGT success. On Friday night, he took center stage at Indianapolis’ annual Circle of Lights celebration, closing out the event with a soaring rendition of the song that helped make him a millionaire—Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Looking back, it’s clear that Goodall was destined for this moment. Just days after his AGT victory, he returned to his job as a school janitor and was met with a hero’s welcome from students and faculty.

“You don’t choose TV, TV chooses you,” Goodall told his students during a pep rally in his honor. “Yeah, I had a good story, [but] I’ve been singing to you kids for years and years. At the end of the day, I had enough talent to showcase not just me, but all of you amazing people.”

As his career continues to rise, Goodall remains grounded in his journey. And if one thing is certain, it’s that the best is yet to come.
