He gained recognition in 2019 as a finalist on Tawag ng Tanghalan, a popular singing competition in the Philippines, where he finished in third place.

Sofronio’s father’s passing in 2022 became a turning point in his life, motivating him to pursue his dream of showcasing his talent on an international stage. He immigrated to the United States and settled in Utica, New York, where he found a welcoming community and began balancing his musical aspirations with a job as a dental assistant.
