When Elvis Presley ‘Duetted’ With His Daughter Lisa Marie On The Song ‘Where No One Stands Alone,’ Creating An Extraordinary Musical Experience For Fans

Forty years after her father’s death, Lisa Marie Presley and her father recorded a poignant duet.

The music video featured Elvis Presley and his daughter Lisa Marie Presley performing the duet “Where No One Stands Alone,” which was just published.

The 2018 Elvis compilation, of which the title track is a part, includes freshly recorded instruments and backing voices set to vintage Elvis vocal recordings primarily from his gospel albums How Great Thou Art and He Touched Me.

In 2023, at the age of 54, Lisa Marie passed away tragically.

Regarding her experience writing the song, Lisa Marie told ITV’s Lorraine, “I just felt really emotional,” when it was released. Having a good cry while singing is never fun.

“I mustered up the courage to remain calm, yet I sensed an intense bond with both him and the melody.”

I wouldn’t say I communicate with [him], but I do recall everything and everything that… she continued. As was the case with this particular record, I can just rely on my recollection, files, and the occasional request for assistance.

It was as if someone reached down and touched me. A tiny piece of that was there.

After the duet came out, Lisa Marie had a terrible go of it, the worst of it being the 2020 death of her son Benjamin Keough, who was 27 years old.

Her father passed away when Lisa Marie Presley was only nine years old. Elvis Presley, his wife, and their newborn daughter Lisa Marie are shown in this picture.

Three months after his grandfather Elvis Presley passed away, the King’s grandson was laid to rest at Graceland.

Additionally, this was the first funeral to take place at Graceland since the famous mansion began to be open to the public.

“Every day I wake up praying it will get better,” said Elvis’ ex-wife Priscilla Presley at the time of his death. Then I consider my daughter, who was a nurturing mother, and the suffering she must be experiencing. Danny—Ben’s dad—is totally bewildered because Ben was his only son.

Riley was very caring and lived very near to Ben; Harper and Finley were devoted to Ben. Death and loss are very difficult for Navarone. Ben, we adored you; now rest in peace.
