Pierce Brosnan gives a heartfelt tribute to wife Keely and recounts their first encounter as she turns 60.

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith are often regarded as the most popular celebrity couple.

Since their relationship began in 1994, it has been clear from all of their images together how much they love and support each other.

Pierce’s wonderful birthday message for Keely, which he posted on Instagram yesterday (September 26), is another example of how they’ve maintained their streak.

“For my brown-eyed girl’s 60th birthday, sixty roses.” “I was sitting there when you came around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas @keelyshayebrosnan, and I was forever happy and blessed,” he said in the post.

Pierce married Cassandra Harris in 1994; she died in 1991. Pierce then headed to Mexico to meet Keely.

They married in 2001 at Ireland’s Ballintubber Abbey and have two children, Dylan and Paris.

Last month, the couple celebrated their 22nd anniversary. In June, Pierce shared a stunning photo of the pair taken by her well-known friend and Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper, along with a wonderfully heartfelt statement.

“Stars emerge from the heavens, the firmament splits the primordial water, the moon rises, and night descends…ward going for home,” he wrote in his book.

Keely and the rest of Pierce’s family extended their own sincere congratulations to the renowned James Bond actor on his 70th birthday earlier this year.

She tweeted, “Happy Birthday, my darling @piercebrosnanofficial.”

I wish you a happy, bountiful, and interesting ride around the sun. No matter your age… It reflects your amount of boldness in life.

Paris wished “Happy 70th to the creator @piercebrosnanofficial. More life, more art, more blessings…” and shared photographs of Pierce with his sons.
