Darci Lynne just honored one of Motown’s most classic songs with her recent cover.During her rendition of ”Who’s Lovin’ You” by The Jackson 5, the America’s Got Talent Season 12 winner belted with soulful twang. She shook things up with the melody, paying homage to the original yet still making the version her own. Better yet, the acoustics of the room were on point, and emphasized the passion in her voice even more as it soared through every note.

What to know about ”Who’s Lovin’ You” by The Jackson 5

Originally written by Smokey Robinson and recorded in 1960 for his group The Miracles, The Jackson 5’s 1969 version is the most well known to date. The Jackson 5 famously performed ”Who’s Lovin’ You” on The Ed Sullivan Show in December that year.

”The young bandleader stunned the audience with the raw emotion he let out while soulfully vocalizing the ballad, something you wouldn’t expect from someone his age,” American Songwriter wrote of young Michael Jackson’s performance.
