Before his janitorial career, Richard was a teenager passionately singing along to Journey in his bedroom, igniting his love for music. To the students at Davis Park Elementary, Richard is not just the janitor who keeps their school spotless but also a cherished performer who considers them “his students.”
He believes that the role of a mentor extends beyond teachers and administrators.
